For Individuals
Let me support you figure out one of the biggest transitions you'll go through in your career. You don't have to figure it out alone.

Qualifying is a huge deal. Genuinely — well done. Make sure you celebrate!!
But if you're standing on the other side of it feeling a bit wobbly, a bit "wait, is this normal?", a bit like everyone else seems to have this figured out and you don't... you are so far from alone. That first year (and honestly, the years after it too) can be exciting, overwhelming, and everything in between, sometimes all in the same shift.
I've been exactly where you are. I've made the early-career mistakes, cried the tears, and questioned my own competence more times than I can count. Blume exists because I know what a difference the right support makes — and I want that for you too.

What investing in yourself with Blume actually gets you
HCPC CPD, sorted from day one.
CPD can feel like a distant, daunting thing you'll "deal with later" — until later arrives and it's suddenly overwhelming. Blume helps you start building good CPD habits right from qualifying, so you're meeting HCPC standards as you go, not scrambling to piece it together years down the line.

Structure, when everything feels like information overload.
That first year throws a lot at you, all at once — new team, new systems, new expectations, a hundred things to remember and reflect on. Blume gives you a place to actually collate it all, make sense of it, and reflect properly, instead of it all just swirling around in your head (or seventeen different notes apps).

A clearer sense of who you want to become as a clinician.
There isn't one right way to be an AHP. Blume isn't here to tell you who to be — it's here to help you figure that out for yourself, at whatever stage you're at.

Confidence that actually sticks.
Not confidence that evaporates the second something goes wrong, but the kind that's built through reflection, honest conversation, and knowing you've got backup when you need it. Having a stronger sense of self and your professional identity will support the confidence that sticks. Because becoming a confident clinician is more than clinical knowledge. It's about growing into the clinician you want to become.

Someone in your corner, not just another box to tick.
This isn't generic training. It's real support from someone who's lived it — space for the questions you're maybe too embarrassed to ask anyone else. In my book, the weirder the question, the better.

& importantly, joy in the process!
Growth happens best when you actually enjoy the journey. Expect laughter, honesty, and the occasional happy tear along the way.

Proven from my own research

70% feel the most valuable part was external preceptorship support
We found external support that Preceptorship provides is invaluable. Internal team systems (inductions, supervision, CPD) are a fantastic resource, however, having that extra element for new starters really can make all the difference. We found it opened up a safe space to talk through certain challenges. A specific quote: ‘I feel the 1- 2- 1 had got me through this challenging time—not sure what I would have done without it.’

93% valued feeling part of a wider AHP community
AHP professions can be small but bringing everyone in together can bring a better sense of self and community. AHPs often work in isolation or in the community which can create feelings of isolation. A specific quote I love: 'Definitely helped with addressing feelings of imposter syndrome as everyone else was feeling the same. It also helped me face challenges of staff not understanding my role and giving me more confidence with advocating what I can and can't do.’

84.6% agree it helped recognise increase in confidence
It was indentified that attending meetings, support from leads, structured CPD and a community of practice was all part of building confidence. A specific quote 'Yes—confidence instilled by the AHP community and preceptorship leads.’

92.3% felt the programme helped retain them in post
100% actually stated that there would be a gap in support if not enrolled on the programme. And we saw a 30% improvement in leaver rates once the programme was well established. Specific quote 'The external support from the Preceptorship leads has helped me retain my post, without a shadow of a doubt’

100% feel the programme has helped them recognise and gain skills in self- reflection
As well as 92% gaining skills in how to structure their CPD. I remember feeling like my CPD portfolio was a complete unknown and hoped I would never be called for audit. Establishing good habits from the day you qualify is key for maintaining an up-to-date accurate record. A specific quote: 'I think that the more I learn and share with others, the more reassured I feel too. Without having that support and structure in place to help me review my development and progress, and to help me reflect on it, I might not have felt contained, or I might have struggles with organising myself.’
